Donald Trump's Sentencing Postponed Until After November Election

Donald Trump's Sentencing Postponed Until After November Election

The sentencing of former President Donald Trump in his Manhattan hush money case has been delayed until after the November election. Originally set for September 18, Judge Juan Merchan rescheduled it to November 26, citing the sensitive timing surrounding the election. The decision aims to avoid any appearance that the proceedings might influence the upcoming presidential election in which Trump is a candidate.

Trump faces sentencing after being convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to a payment to silence Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign.
